Online resources

As Our Vision states, we strive to become active and vibrant followers of Jesus Christ!  Part of that is growing in the knowledge and understanding of God, His Word, and His desires for our lives.  Here we will be building a list of online resources in the areas of Bible Study and Christian life, to assist in those efforts.

If not already involved, you are encouraged to check out another important resource in our church – Small Groups, such as Bible Study classes.  The fellowship found in these groups in so important to a Christian.  Many of these offerings can be found in the Children’s Ministry, Youth, and Adult Ministries areas of our web site.


One Year Bible Reading Plans

NAVPRESS - Includes three different reading plans.  As of this posting, the “Click here to download” links aren’t working properly.  However, if you click on one of the plan images, you will be taken to page describing that plan.  Click “Preview free sample” to open a document that can be printed.  (It will probably print with a “Do Not Copy” watermark, but still can be used.)

One Year Bible Online - pdf file that can be printed.  Readings each day are from four different selections: Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.

Purpose Driven Life - Daily readings are through books of the Bible, from beginning to end.

Bible-Reading.com - Plan includes different selection types for each day of the week:  Sunday - Epistles, Monday - The Law, Tuesday - History, Wednesday - Psalms, Thursday - Poetry, Friday - Prophecy, Saturday - Gospels.

Bible Study

  • Bible Study Tools on Crosswalk.com - In addition to several translations of Bibles, this site also provides commentaries, concordances, Bible dictionaries, an encyclopedia, plus many other resources.
  • Online Bibles from International Bible Society - In addition to the NIV, TNIV, and NIrV translations of the Bible, this site also provides online Bibles in over 30 differenent languages.  Other resources provided include an Audio Bible (requires RealPlayer which can be downloaded free) and a Bible Concordance & Dictionary.

Christian Life

  • Prayer
    • Presidential Prayer Team -   was born out of the national tragedy of September 11, 2001. Since then, millions have joined together through PPT to pray for the President, his cabinet, the nation and our Armed Forces. PPT is the largest organization dedicated to praying for our President and our nation.
    • National Day of Prayer - Official site with information on the event held annually on the first Thursday in May.
  • Family Life
    • Focus on the Family - This site provides online articles and other resources on topics such Relationships & Marriage, Parenting, Faith, Entertainment, Life Challenges, and Social Issues.
  • Financial
    • Crown Financial Ministries - Crown is an interdenominational ministry dedicated to equipping people around the world to learn, apply, and teach biblical financial principles.   The site provides some resources online, some for purchase.
